ESQUIMALT FIRE STATION EXPANSION

Saywell Contracting Ltd. was retained by the Township of Esquimalt to provide an extension of the public safety apparatus bays. The work consisted of construction of approximately 1,140 square feet of floor space, walls and roof while simultaneously relocating and adding apparatus bay doors. Apparatus exhaust system modifications, new electrical, new mechanical and other building systems were installed. Excavation of the parking lot area took place directly adjacent to the building to allow for the foundation and servicing extension. Underground drainage was removed and replaced. Exterior finishes from the existing building, garden beds and parking lot surfaces were connected into the bay extension.
