Designed to bring a fully automated self storage facility to Nanaimo.

Vancouver Island Self Storage is comprised of 12 pre-engineered metal buildings complete with site development on a 5-acre portion of the 10-acre parcel of land. Phase 1 includes 3 of the 12 buildings, a caretaker’s suite, and site development of the lower 5-acre portion. The 183 sprinklered, conditioned storage units are accessible 24 hours a day with automated entry and security. The goal is to have the facility fully automated without the need for a caretaker.

Phase 2 will see the construction of the remaining 9 pre-engineered metal buildings.

Phase 3 is under pre-construction. A 10,000sf farm machinery facility along with an 8,000sf gated yard is proposed for the upper 5-acre parcel of land.
